Hi Keiko and Klaus!

Please excuse my delay in responding - I am briefly in Cape Town (finally, again) and am distracted by the immense beauty of this city (...once again).

Thanks for all your thoughts...I think I have a ghost in the machine. I had contact with a friend who has the same problem and he gave up on it. I do hope there is some solution for it.

If either a new audio output or hardrive reformat does not solve the problem....then this is serious.

Thanks again!

best to you there
Mark
