"factory presets" are only there in a very few acts and some in the  
environment. at SDIFter there is none.

but presets should work in the usual way here. any specific questions?

actually this was the reason, why i did not reply earlier.
i have no experiences with spear, except the few SDIF-files i did for  
SDIFter.
i don't even have it installed at the moment.

so you have to find out about filetype and settings by trying etc.

i looked up the CNMAT site,

but the sdif link appears to be dead at the moment.
