the difference between max4.5 and max4.6 in filepath-handling is, thatmax4.6 does not use the library any more for storing the external objects.everything is now in the "MaxMSP 4.6" folder.i am not sure, if max4.6 still looks into the Library/Application Support/ this might be a reason for your troubles.also, if you "experience" with different lloopp-version, this tends to lead to version-miss-matches.eg. the 4.5-objects cannot be loaded by max4.6 and can lead to your errors, if max finds it earlier than the newer ones.(they got the same name, but max cannot load it...)anyway,i don't know if you use max for other purposes than lloopp.if not, the most easy way would be to delete all(!!!) max&lloopp related things(you maybe want to do a backup before).then reinstall max4.6.3 and put the lloopp folders into the cycling' 74 folder.(in osx, this "lloopp-installation" is only one action, moving the 2 folders into max' searchpath).also, what was the result at the search for "strcut" in the finder?bestklaus

i know these errors very well.

many more like this.

and the only reason for that is, that max cannot find these externals
in its searchpath.
it also might be, that you downloaded the XP-version?

also try the following:
search for strrcut in the finder and see where its located.
if you have more than one in max' searchpath, then it also might be,
that you have old
versions of these objects there. then you should simply delete these.
