hi ben,
i need to know some more details:

first of all, when does this error appear:
when opening max, opening ho_st or opening a specific act.

then please tell me if you are using windows or osx.

and also, please include the whole error-message(s).
if you select the max-window, you can press command-c
to copy the entire contents of it and paste it into the mail.
(then maybe extract the errors...)
