[Lloopp] distort at _sub question

Hello,

I'm a kind of gosht in this list but I'm here.
I'm looking for a "good" distortion patch. The best one I have is a  
_real_ guitar disto. I cannot use a vst nor Reaktor : only MSP.  
overdrive~ is not good.
I want something that is not always digital.

I looked at the lloopp simple disto. Why are you using downsamp~  
followed by degrade~ since degrade~ already have a downsample? Isn't  
it the same?
