[Lloopp] lloopp workshop + other events in Tarcento (Ud) Italy

Please join us for a lloopp-workshop during 'Correnti Sonore 2005' festival. 

lloopp ( http://lloopp.klingt.org )  is a software written in max/msp, 
designed for musical live-improvisation. lloopp is freeware, open source and 
is written by musicians who use this very software in their performances. 
anybody who is into max-programming is invited to join in. since lloopp is 
not a standalone, it is open for any changes and add-ons, which makes the 
thing an ever growing/changing tool. lloopp started as a sample-based 
loop-machine, but got a lot of functionalities on generating sound and at 
least has a basic open door to the world of jitter, the thrilling video-max 
solution. keywords: loop, samples, synthezisers, recording, vst, midi, 
contoling, granular synthesis, spatialization, plugins, modulation,... 
max/msp/jitter. 

the workshop will have two parts. first he will give a brief overview about 
the software's concept. one of the most powerful features of lloopp is its 
networking structur. every parameter can be controled from any module and 
audio-routing similarily goes in any direction.
some 50 different modules (so called acts), can interact. 

the second part will be held as a hands-on workshop where everybody should 
be teached how to make the software sing on his own computer (laptops). 
according to the interests of the participants we will cover different 
approaches and find examples for individual setups. also according to skills 
and experience of the participants we can dig in the basic programming 
structures of lloopp, providing the source to interact to and from any 
max-patch.
