Resonance104.4fm and Dutch Art Institute present Klanglangwelle as part of the radio.terrtories programme The Gasometer in Oberhausen is the biggest of its kind in the world, measuring 68m in diameter and 117m in height. Fresh from his "Resonant Spaces" tour of Scotland's highlands and islands, saxophonist John Butcher is joined by the massed radio-playing ranks of the Dutch Art Institute Radio Orchestra; and Tonic Train, featuring 'Feedback: order from noise' performers Knut Aufermann, Sarah washington and Xentos 'Fray' Bentos. start: 19:00, fee: 4 Euros the gasometer roof will be open for the audience after the concert until 22:00 this event is made possible with the support of the Culture 2000 programme of the European Union |
